New Favorite Toy

This is one of RJ's toy jig saws. Zach loves that it makes noise and he likes to fix the walls every chance he gets. So cute.

"Class Dance"

Our little dancer took a dance class this summer. She of course loved it! She calls her class "Class Dance" most of her statements seems to get backwards, it is pretty cute.
This class involved ballet, tap, and tumbling. Her teacher said she was a natural. We think so to.

Johnson's Orchards

One Saturday afternoon we decided to take a family trip to a near by orchard. It was a beautiful drive through Bedford County. The weather was hot but not too awful and the kids had fun picking their very own apples and peaches, well everyone except RJ who complained about the heat and the no-see-ems. Those knats were awful and he didn't have a hat or sunglasses to help avoid the annoyance.

RJ had come to this orchard before with his kindergarten class last fall. He remembered this wax figure and wanted a picture with him but wanted to be as far away of it as possible. The figure stood on an uneven piece of wood. Savannah happened to step on the edge of the wood and the figure teetered a little, this spooked the kids and we soon left this corner of the orchard shop.

This little room is the public John.

Off to the apple picking.

Mmmmmm, Peaches! This is what I was excited about getting.

And later that week Savannah and I canned 16 jars of peach jam.

We have an Orange Belt in the House!

Eight weeks has passed since RJ received his yellow belt
and now he is ready to advance to the next belt.
