Savannah and Sally

Savannah loves Sally, She is definitely her dog! She chases Sally around the house, shares her food, and cuddles with her. Every morning she shirks with joy when Sally is let back into the house.

Sunflowers

RJ with his sunflowers he planted this summer. He was so excited to see them when we got home from our trip. They bloomed while we were gone.

Gaint Zucchini

After a two week vacation we found our garden over grown with giant zucchini. We made 2 loaves of zucchini bread out of HALF of one of the zucchinis. We froze the rest to use for bread or a casserole later.

The Kids trip to California

The Kids had a fun time with their Grandma's. Grandma & Grandpa Bartley took them to train museum in Sonoma and Grandma Pearce took them to the Jelly Belly factory. They also got to go to the Nut tree.

Trip to Hawaii Aug. 29th - Sept. 6th

Jared and I went to Kona, Hawaii with his family. We spent a wonderful 9 days in the sun and water. My favorite part was kayaking across Kealakekua Bay to the Captain Cook Monument where there was some of the best snorkeling on the island. We also saw a few dolphins swimming around the bay. One of Jared's favorite parts of the trip was the submarine ride. This trip will always stay in our memory. It was an excellent way to celebrate our 5th anniversary and spend some time with family we don't get much to to see. We missed our kids but they had an excellent time with Grandma and Grandpa who enjoyed getting to know them better. Our budget is now busted so who knows when we can enjoy another wonderful trip.
