Jared's Birthday

Jared turned 27 on Dec. 19. He got crab legs for dinner which seems to be a tradition now. I don't like sea food so he rarely gets it.

(if you haven't guessed that is what he is holding in his hands, the king crab legs)

We ate grilled cheese sandwiches.

RJ got daddy the pirate movie (#3). He (RJ) was so excited we stayed up till 11 watching it. Probably not the best thing for a 3 year old to watch but he is so into pirates and loved every minute of it. We had a rough morning the next day with early dentist appoints (no cavities) and preschool.

The kids are helping Jared open his big present, a miter saw.

We had treats the next day for preschool so we decided to make cupcakes for daddy instead of a cake, and we gave half of them to his class. Worked out great since the four of us wouldn't have eaten a whole cake. RJ had a blast decorating the cupcakes with all the sprinkles we had in the house. They were very sugary.

The kids singing Happy Birthday.

Daddy and Savannah

When you ask Savannah to give you kisses, she always turns so you can give her a kiss on her cheek. I don't know why she wouldn't give you a kiss but she loves to receive them.

Little Match Girl

Savannah was playing with matches (oops). They of course weren't lit she just dumped them all over the counter. Daddy thought it was funny to take a pic. with a match in her mouth. Would have been cuter if she was wearing her new cowgirl hat

More snow fun

These were taken a couple of weeks ago. Since then we have received more snow. RJ wanted daddy to bury him in the snow like he did in the sand. He soon learned it was a little colder in the snow then it was in the sand.

Pictures with Santa

We crashed our old ward's Christmas party. It was an easy and fun way to say hi to everyone we loved up in St. Anthony. We enjoyed visiting with old friends and the RJ loved seeing all his old buddies. They of course loved seeing Santa and this time we got them to sit on his lap. Savannah was very unsure at first but with her big brothers help she sat there long enough to get a picture. We forgot our camera but thank goodness Jennie was kind enough to take these photos for us.

Never to Young to Ride

This is one of my latest digi-scrap pages. I had a lot of fun with this one trying to make it more manly then girlie. What do you think?

Grandpa Wight took RJ on his first bike ride when he was 2 1/2. It was just around the court where he lives, but still a little nerve raking for mommy. RJ loved it, of course. The small top photo is of RJ just sitting on the bike with Grandpa when he came up to visit in June after his ride to Canada.
