Staying true to our colors

We had a ward party back in September with a high school theme. We were asked to wear our high school school colors to the event and dress as you did in High School. Considering it wasn't that long ago, we didn't have to stretch to find outfits. But it was fun to sport our colors and share a little of our past with the kids.

Fairfield High (Red & Black)

Armijo (Purple & Gold) of course Savannah wanted to sport my colors, cause there the best!

RJ said forget your schools, I want to want to wear my school colors (Yellow & Blue).
Already has school pride, gotta love it.

The Letter B

We unfortunately don't have the finances to send Savannah to preschool. It is much more expensive here in Virgina then it was in Idaho. She really really wishes she could go and looks forward to kindergarten next year. We really really wish we could send her to a preschool like so many of her friends. However we have been enjoying the quit afternoons during Zachery's naps together, having Mommy and Me Preschool with just the two of us. We have been working on learning a letter a week. When we talked about the letter B we learned about bakers and Savannah baked up a batch of yummy brownies that we all enjoyed.

Puzzle Girl

Savannah's new favorite activity is puzzles. She loves putting them together. We have been doing 24 piece and 64 piece puzzles like crazy lately. She has been doing this wooden United States puzzle since she was three and I have been amazed at how well she can put the United States together.

Zachery loves following Savannah around and doing what she does. He couldn't pass on the puzzle fun and had to give it a try as well.

Day in the Park

Lynchburg has an annual fun Day in the Park full of free rides, games, and lots of community vendor booths. I took the kids and met up with our neighbor and had a good afternoon.
RJ also was able to help out at the Super Kicks booth and do some Karate demos.
