On the Market

As I mentioned before, we had three weeks to prepare to leave Idaho after we accepted the job offer in Virginia. In those three weeks we had some minor repairs on the house to get done. The base board in the kitchen needed to get back up, the inside needed some touch up paint, the outside badly needed to be repainted, and we needed to access the bathroom piping to wrap the pipes since they froze ever winter.
The foundation on the outside of the bathroom had rolled out. A contractor told us that it was a facade and not the real foundation, so we weren't to worried about it when we bought the house. Just before we left, we decided to have the rolled out concrete removed in hopes of getting to the pipes to fix their problem. Once we removed the concrete we found an even huger issue. This is a picture of what is holding up the floor under our bathroom.
Yikes!

So we had to hire a contractor to take care of the problem while we packed up and went on our way. (There went some of our equity.) Anyway, three weeks later, our contractor is done and our house it officially on the market.

And we already have a perspective buyer!!! What great news with the economy the way it is. We truly have been blessed.

The house looks great! Good luck with selling it! That's great that people are looking at it already!
