RJ has been dying to go fishing. Last Tuesday, Jared took the scouts on a fishing trip and RJ got to go. We got RJ a cars fishing pole , he was very excited about that. And then he practiced casting the line in the front yard before the trip. We were amazed at how well he did. He is a natural! He let go of the button at just the right time and the line went far and hit the same spot he was aiming for just about every time.
The boys went to a fishing pond and Jared got some great sunset pictures. RJ had a blast but didn't catch any fish. Only a few boys did and RJ got to watch a fish being gutted. He thought it was cool and was so excited to tell me all about it when he got home.

Wow, those really are some great sunset pictures! How beautiful! Isn't it fun for little boys to go fishing. Jonah and Lea have each had turns to go fishing with Dan's dad this summer and they loved it! Especially Jonah!
